Spirit of St. Louis Air Show | Personal
Some might not know that there are two of us at Kelly Pratt Photography. I (Ian) rarely write any of the the blog posts but I do take many of the photos you see in the posts. So I thought it would be fun to share some of the images I took at this years Spirit of St. Louis Air Show. All of the static aircraft images are taken using the Brenizer Method which Kelly and I have incorporated into our work for some time. It’s always fun to use some of our tricks in new ways. The Brenizer method gives the above image an effective focal length of 43mm with an aperture of 0.7. This is done by stitching 26 images together. Even when reduced by 50% this image is 145 megapixels! If you’re curious and would like to learn more about the technique check out Ryan Brenizer’s page for more. Enjoy!
